Carefully selected hand-harvested Pinot Grigio grapes from hillside vines. Aged in stainless steel tanks in order to ensure maximum fruit retention and palate freshness. A lovely bouquet of ripe pear and spring flowers marries perfectly with a keen-edged citrus fruit vibrancy. Far classier than the average 'PG' on the market offering excellent depth of flavour allied to a telling crisp finale. This organic white wine is great with antipasti, grilled fish and white meat dishes.
This 70 Merlot 30% Refosco blend is super supple, soft and ripe. Ruby in colour, the bouquet is of herbs and deep red fruits, with some toasty berried flavours coming through also on the palate. A wine with plenty of character thats easily appreciated. Try it with cheeses that are not too strong, pasta dishes or cured meats.
A lovely blend of 70% Grillo and 30% Viognier with the lemon zest acidity of the Grillo tempered by the waxy, peachy Viognier . Ripe and balanced, this is a great food friendly wine also.

16.5/20 JancisRobinson.com - 'A rather pretty apple-pie nose, even custardy, but in a creamy-custard-fruit rather than a vanilla-oak-custard kind of way. Fresh pie apples and lemon with generous and very well-balanced acidity. Tiny bit herbal on the finish. Altogether complete. Properly delicious. GV [Good Value].' Soft and supple with rich depth, and a lingering smooth black cherry fruit finish.
'Insieme' means 'together' in Italian and signifies the help Santa Tresa received from the Stellar winery in South Africa, which is a leading organic and fair trade estate, also specialising in 'No Sulphur Added' (NSA) wines.
To produce an NSA wine requires incredible attention to detail, using hand selected optimally ripe grapes that are carefully handled and brought to the winery for processing as quickly as possible. Maximum cleanliness in the winery is crucial in order to reduce any possible unwanted microbiological growth, and oxygen must be excluded at all costs whilst the wine is being stored.
A tiny amount of sulphur (less than 10 parts per million) is present and only there as it's formed naturally, as part of the fermentation process itself. An increasing number of people see avoiding additives as a stepping stone towards health improvement, and it's gratifying to know one can enjoy outstanding quality wines at the same time!
Xarel.lo is indigenous to Spain and we are real fans of it. Here it's unoaked with a fine seam of crisp acidity and come the sunshine, this is one of the most enlivening dry white wines we know. Very good indeed. Made from 50+ year old vines.

Wonderfully fresh and aromatic, with vivid red fruits. A real charmer you can easily enjoy with or without food.
